Evening all ..
Well .. productive day i guess. Went to the hospital in London to see Prof Fowler a Uro-neirologist. She looked at my last set of test results (the ones where i was sick) and said that although the test results went exactly normal they wernt results of a neurological bladder. She said she had no idea why i was so sick .. and all the symptoms i get when i need the toilet i shouldnt get untill im nearly a leter full rather than 350ml.
She did however say that there was a reason im retaining and that it was caused by a problem with my bowles. I dont really know much about it as she didnt give it a name but said that there was no cure for it and the only treatment was tryal and error really. I will have to self cath from now on though, twice a day just to get rid of all the retention. She is hopefull that with self cath i will reduce all the symptoms i have including the incontonance i have during the day. Night however is difrent an unlikaly to change.
Prof Fowler is so lovely, in a way i dont think the dianosis has a name because she just gave it to me so that i have something to go back to my neurologist with, she really believes that im not mental and that there is something physically wrong. She wrote a lovely letter to my neuro suggesting that they 'help' me more ;o) its very persuacive!
Any way .. what ever shall be shall be .. i have to get used to playing with tubes and lubes (ha, no lube envolved really, just making a lil ryme there!) its really not that uncomfortable, and if it helps i'l do anything! :-D
Any way, despite feeling really ill with my chest .. sounding like barry white .. and being fucking exhuaseted through the days activitys i have to meet friends tonight in the pub. So im just about to get changed and run .. ugh.
