hello everyone .. tis me again, thought i should give a propper up date of things!
So, Wednesday last week i got my phone call to say i could have my keys to my house .. only i was going to Manchester so we agreed i could pick them up friday.
Wednesday me and Ali drove up to Gaz's where we met up with everyone (Jenny, Gaz, James ect)and had a cup of tea and a sit down before heading off to Gemma's with Jenny in tow! It really did take us house to get home, just because it was dark, i dont know Manc and Gemma (bless her) cant give directions to save her life!! Any way, we got there, had a take away and some beer then went to bed. It was really lovely to see everyone and great to catch up with Jen too :-)
Next morning i was up early doors cos Gem needed mne to tail her to the garage where she was having an MOT. Did some shopping that afternoon then me and Jen went to bed while Ali and Gem went to collect the car.
By the time they got back it was time to go out. We met up with Gaz and then with Simon and his dad. Sadly i think everyone going to see Shnia had the same idea and there was no where to eat. Poor Gem had to go home and the only place to eat was insside the stadum :-( Felt really bad that she had to go .. but never mind!
The show was great, me and Ali started off sitting almost oposit Jen and Gaz but 3/4 of the way through moved round to 2 empty seats next to them :-> The band were ace, i mean, totally amazing, i would kill for that talent to be honest! But i felt a bit let down my Shnia her self .. she spent most of the show on her knees with her hair over her face trying to sing while signing autographs! I wouldnt have minded if it was just through one or two songs but it was nearly all of em! But her voise was truly amazing, she didnt even have to try, it just flowed .. beautiful!
Considering my record for getting to Gems we did remarkabally well and got home in about 15 mins! It was a bit of a disaster getting out of the stadium though, i had to accost a group of four lesbians to help Jenny to the car .. bless her, i just said 'excuse me, my friends about to die, could you help her please!?' ... ha ha
Next morning we really were up early doors .. we both just lay in bed thinking 'this is it, im actually going to die, there is no way i can get up' but we did.. and we made wicked timing to Gaz's house too. Me and James didnt hang about ... straight out the door and off. Not many hold up's at all really, 30mph on a strech of the A1 but other than that made amazing timing! only 3 1/2 hours .. and with out the small delays it would have been up three so im chuffed!
As soon as i dropped james off it was back to mine and on the phone to Pat (my housing officer) to find out when i could get the keys. She said i could go there and then so we did! Me and Louisa drop to the council buildings and picked up the keys. Got back to the hostel where fran was waiting and started to pack boxs in the back of my car. We did 2 loads of that but we were all just to shattered to work into the night. We all headed home, with take away and went to bed.
The next morning we were back at the hostel by 8:40 and the van along with 2 men turned up at 9 .. we were totally acked and leaving by 9:45 .. by 10:30 everything was here and we started to unpack .. sofa's, bed, desk all that stuff.
But, by Monday night we were totally sorted .. i am still amazed at how quickly we managed to unpack everything ... the only things still boxed up is vedios we dont know where to put!!
Had our phone put in yesterday .. and, thank god, my cable TV is back! Today were haing our washing mashine and fridge delivered too. We are so badly in need of a washer .. its getting a bit disgusting! Were just renting the washer .. saves time and money really. Fridge, Fran brought .. we've been coping quite well with her mini one but it will be nice to have a big full fridge!!
I went to the Dr yesterday cos i have been bleeding for 5 weeks now .. she's put me on progestorone pills 3x a day for 10 days, then as soon as i start to bleed again i start another pill .. this one (we hope) will be better because it has diff levels of hormones in it through out the month.
Tomorrow im seeing the neuro at 9:40, im not taking any one with me cos .. well .. there is no one to take! Mum cant make it, dad .. well, no, Frans got physio .. and i dont really know my PA's well enough to ask them. Just not sure how i'l be pushing my chair eseen as im a one armed bandet! lol .. I'l let you know how it goes though. Lots of questions this time!
Not up to much fir the rest of the week, sending out change of address letters and resting i guess. Next week im going to the car adaption place and i have another hospital app with Dr turner my old/new bladder Dr. My mum is also down for the week so i will be seeing her too! Im excited about her seeing the house and having a meal and stuff :-)
Nikki is up from Southampton this weekend, she's bringing mark but he is going to stay here so she can spend some good time ith her Ma :-) Mark will be my first house guest too! Very exciting!! .. lol
right, now were all caught up, i shall love you and leave you .. i have a ton of e mail to send!
