afternoon .. im really really fucking sleepy and actually came home to sleep but i seemed to sit at the computor and i'v managed to stay here for the last two hours ... humm. Stayed with Fran last night .. we were very naughty .. well, she was. Came home and stayed with me on Thursday night, but called her mum and said she was staying in Colchester with her friend and coming home Friday. hehe. Any way, i spent yesterday evening wrapping christmas prezzys for Fran trying NOT to put my foot in it every time i opened my god damn mouth!!
Didnt sleep too well, Fran's taken to talking in her sleep .. i seem to have a think about sleeping with people who dont do a quiet night!! Doesnt seem to matter if its friends or partners .. no one i know can sleep!!! ARGH!! lol .. i dont mind though, im just bloody lovely ;o)
Any way, was shockingly sleepy when i woke up but i had to go back to the optitions at ten and Fran had to get up and go training. Optition said i missunderstood her, apparently i need to wear them most of the time including reading, watching the telly and driving .. not just telly and driving. She also said things will be a bit blury for a while so i need to wear them all the time till things get clearer.
Went to my dad's for lunch for a bit but got so sleepy i had to come home.
Today
Im not sure what happened Saturday afternoon .. im sure i should. I went to see Love actually on Friday, it was so lovely :-> I cryed all the way through .. in fact, i was sobbing before i had even started! It was wonderful, total mush but worth seeing :o)
Sunday, im not sure either. I know i have been at Fran;s for the last few nights .. in fact, this is the first night in my own bed sence she came home and im not happy to be here :-( She is training tonight.
Any way .. today i went to the hosptial .. im going to write something about that later But for your eyes i will tell you a bit about what happened. Got there a wee bit late, not that it even matters in Addenbrooks cos they are always three hours behind! I'v actually been to the department before but had forgotten, i had a VEP (Visual evoked petential) there. Back to today. They strapped diskes the size of two pound coins to the bottom on the nerves. They do one never at a time. At the top of the nevre they pop a plastic thing with two wet tiny spounges in. Through that they pass the electrical current. The current passes down the nevre and is picked up and read by the disk. This is all recored by the computor and once the thecnition has measured your arm they can work out how fast your nerves are working. It hurts a bit, although it feels very odd. If you had normal nerves it wouldnt hert so much, but because it irritated an already painful nerve it was all quite saw. I really wanted a hug when i was done. I really wanted a hug all day.
I dont want to write any more, im tiered and lonely .. im going to bed to drink balyies and feel sorry for my self. Bye
